TokHarvest does not host, store, or serve any video content. When a user processes a content URL using TokHarvest, any media file travels directly from the original platform’s content delivery network (CDN) to the user’s own device. TokHarvest servers never receive, cache, or retain any video file.
Therefore, if you are the copyright owner of a video, the appropriate party to contact for takedown is the platform hosting the content (e.g. TikTok, YouTube, Instagram), not TokHarvest. We provide direct links to each platform’s DMCA process below.
TokHarvest takes copyright law seriously. We designed our platform to help creators manage and archive their own content. We explicitly prohibit users from using TokHarvest to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others. Our Terms of Service make this clear.
We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and analogous international copyright laws. We will respond to valid DMCA notices promptly and will terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
To be explicit about TokHarvest’s technical architecture as it relates to copyright:
TokHarvest is a content management tool — similar in nature to a media organizer or a browser extension. Any media transfer happens between the user’s device and the CDN of the original platform. Our servers only handle authentication and quota enforcement.
If your copyrighted content is being hosted by a third-party platform, please file your DMCA notice directly with that platform:
Filing with the platform is both faster and more effective because they control the actual content and can remove or restrict it.
If you believe TokHarvest itself (the website or service at tokharvest.com) is infringing your copyright — for example, if TokHarvest is somehow facilitating the distribution of your content in a way not covered by Section 2 above — you may file a DMCA notice with us.

[email protected]Warning: Filing a false DMCA claim is a serious legal matter and may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorney fees, under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
If you believe your content or account was affected by a DMCA takedown in error, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
Send your counter-notice to: [email protected]. Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and restore access within 10–14 business days unless the complainant seeks a court order.
TokHarvest maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We define a repeat infringer as any user whose account is associated with two or more substantiated DMCA complaints within a 12-month period.
Termination for repeat infringement is permanent and no refund will be issued.
We take copyright matters seriously and aim to respond to all valid DMCA notices within 5 business days. We may request additional information if your notice is incomplete before processing it.
